School Speech and Language Pathologist | Plainfield, Illinois

As a valued SLP in this setting, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and your professional peers, fostering a positive environment for students' success. This is a fantastic position for both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and seasoned Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
- Ability to work full-time in a school-based environment
- Experience with elementary/intermediate caseloads is preferred
- Open to SLP-CFY and SLP-CCC candidates
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work with teachers and parents to support students' academic and social development
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within the school setting
