Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Joliet, Illinois

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfortable providing therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and students
• Organizational skills to manage assessments, therapy sessions, and documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students' specific needs
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions aligned with educational goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents
• Offer teletherapy services as needed, utilizing digital tools to connect with students remotely
• Provide support and guidance to families for carryover activities at home
