Job Title: Advanced Engineering Technician DoD clearance required

Location: On-site - Taunton, MA Employment Type: Contract to hire Industry: Defense & Aerospace

Compensation: $38.79 plus over time

Shift: 1st Schedule: 9x80 (every other Friday off) About the Opportunity: Working with Engineering, Operations Support and individuals in other departments, the Advanced Engineering Technician will support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. This may entail performing the following: What You'll Do:

• Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
• Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
• Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test and adjust a variety of tools, equipment and systems
• Conduct, analyze and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters
• Implement and document complex solutions for process improvement
• Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks
• Organize, analyze and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolution/process improvement

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Associate's degree in related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an engineering technician
