About the Opportunity

Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking dependable CDL Class A Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and TWIC card to join our elite team. We have an opening in our Tampa, FL operation.

• Locomotive Fueling: This role focuses on fueling locomotives, loading red-dyed diesel at a refinery and fueling locomotives on an on-call basis.
• Servicing Locomotives: This role focuses on servicing locomotives, including transporting sand, water, and lube oil, and collaborating with railroad mechanical personnel. This position offers consistent, full-time hours, weekly pay, and year-round stability — no weather or seasonal slowdowns. You’ll be paid for a full 12-hour shift — including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time — providing income you can count on. Schedule

• 48 hours per week
• Combination of day and night shifts
• Three consecutive weekdays off each week
• Friday: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Days)
• Saturday: 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Days)
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Nights)
• Monday: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Nights)
• Off: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Requirements
• Class A CDL
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Tanker Endorsement
• TWIC Card

Physical Requirements

Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
