Velocity has long-term fixed contracts with Class I Railroads to fuel locomotives using specialized equipment. We have dedicated trucks that operate 24/7 365 days a year. We work in all types of weather, and our work is not seasonal. Pay you can count on!!! Report to Location: Herington, KS

$84,968 + Annually Home Daily! Paid weekly Guaranteed hours and weekly overtime Must have a Class A CDL with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements. Straight night shift schedule from 6 PM to 6 AM. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities / Job Duties

Velocity Rail Solutions drivers are paid to be fully loaded with red-dyed diesel to fuel trains on an 'On-Call' basis by the Railroad. Paid on the job training will be provided for qualified individuals. The Railroad pays to have dedicated trucks and drivers on duty 24/7/365 days a year. This includes Nights, Weekends, and Holidays, so you can receive consistent paychecks. You are paid for a full 12 hours to include breaks, lunches, and wait-time for dispatches. That's right, you are paid for all On-Duty' hours, regardless of what you are dispatched for

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Med Card) required FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance required Must be registered in the Clearinghouse Must consent to required pre‑employment and ongoing queries Must have no unresolved Clearinghouse violations Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required No DUI or DWI convictions within the past three (3) years No reckless or careless driving convictions within the past three (3) years Accidents, moving violations, and traffic convictions will be reviewed in accordance with company, customer, and insurance standards Ability to pass all company, customer, railroad, and government background checks Responsible for maintaining all required licenses and certifications Ability to read, write, and understand English Reliable, dependable, and safety‑focused Moderate computer skills required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as required Walk long distances on paved, uneven, or unimproved surfaces Frequent climbing in and out of truck cabs Ability to safely cross rail equipment and operate around active locomotives Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working with liquid non‑hazardous materials and dry bulk products
