Harbor Healthcare of Ironton is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team.

The RN is responsible for providing and coordinating high-quality nursing care, monitoring resident conditions, administering treatments and medications, and working collaboratively with physicians, nursing assistants, therapy professionals, residents, and families to support positive clinical outcomes.

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and applicable standards of practice.

Assess residents and monitor for changes in condition.

Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.

Notify physicians and appropriate members of the interdisciplinary team of significant changes in resident condition.

Provide clinical direction and support to nursing assistants and other assigned nursing personnel.

Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary communication.

Educate and communicate with residents and families regarding care needs.

Follow infection prevention, safety, regulatory, and facility policies and procedures.

Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.

Required Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain as required by the facility.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to residents.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience.

Experience supervising or providing clinical direction to nursing assistants and other nursing staff.

Familiarity with electronic health records and long-term care documentation requirements.
