CV/CT Surgery APP Locums Job Wisconsin

Our trusted partner is seeking experienced Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery APPs or PAs to support a busy CV/CT surgery program. Candidates must have cardiothoracic surgery experience, including vein harvesting and cardiovascular surgery first-assist experience.

Details/Requirements:
Three Full-Time APP/PA openings
First-assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
Perform endoscopic and/or open saphenous vein harvesting
Manage pre-op, post-op, and inpatient care
Round on ICU and step-down patients
Manage postoperative complications, chest tubes, drains, and wounds
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination
Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in call coverage as assigned
Current PA or APP certification/licensure
Eligible for state licensure and hospital credentialing
Prior CV/CT surgery experience
Independent saphenous vein harvesting experience
CABG first-assist experience
Experience managing post-op cardiac surgery patients
Strong clinical judgment in high-acuity settings
Endoscopic and open vein harvesting experience
Cardiac surgery ICU management
Chest tube and pacing wire management
Central and arterial line experience
Independent overnight call experience
24-hour in-house and/or home call
Nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Emergency patient evaluations and urgent OR support
