Job Overview Location: Appleton, WI & Oshkosh, WI. Facility: Saint Elizabeth Hospital campus (level III trauma) and Mercy Hospital /Oshkosh (level III trauma). Schedule: Full-Time; 7 on/7 off rotation. Sign-on bonus: $50,000. Relocation assistance: $10,000. CME allowance: $4,000. Malpractice coverage with tail. Access to advanced technology, including imaging and da Vinci Surgical System robotic platforms (Xi and DV5). Enjoy a predictable weekly schedule (7 on/7 off rotation) with dedicated APC support for the operating room and inpatient care. Provide comprehensive inpatient and emergency general surgery coverage, including hospital consultations, emergency department surgical care, and management of hospitalized surgical patients. Provide comprehensive patient care across inpatient evaluating, diagnosing, and treating conditions; managing admissions, consultations, and referrals while participating in call coverage as needed. Support high-quality, cost-effective care by engaging in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to academic programs (education/research), and ensuring timely, accurate documentation including insurance requirements and appeals. Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
