Immigration Paralegal

Immigration Paralegal On-Site | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $50,000–$55,000/year | Fort Lauderdale, FL

About the Role

You'll work directly with our attorneys on immigration matters — preparing petitions, assembling evidence packages, tracking deadlines, and keeping clients updated on where things stand. Our work is business, family, and investor immigration, so you'll see everything from a family petition to an E-2 or EB-5 filing.

This isn't a remote or hybrid role, and that's deliberate — a lot of what we file still goes out on paper, and it gets assembled and mailed from our Fort Lauderdale office. You also won't be doing asylum, humanitarian, or removal work; this is planning and petitions, not court and crisis. A year of immigration experience is enough to start here. We'll build on it.

What You'll Do

• Prepare immigration petitions across family, business, and investor matters
• Assemble supporting evidence packages and check them before attorney review
• Put together and mail paper filings, and track what's gone out
• Keep every matter on schedule and ahead of its filing deadlines
• Update clients in plain language on where their case stands
• Communicate with USCIS and other agencies on status and requests
• Keep case files organized, accurate, and current

What We're Looking For

Required

• 1+ year of immigration experience at a law firm or immigration practice
• Comfortable preparing petitions and assembling evidence packages
• Meticulous with detail and deadlines — a missed date has real consequences for a client
• Clear communicator who can explain process to clients who find it stressful
• Able to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Monday through Friday

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Business or investor immigration experience — E-2, EB-5, PERM
• Paralegal certificate or degree
• Experience with legal case management software

Compensation

$50,000–$55,000 per year, depending on experience.
