Commercial Real Estate Leasing AttorneyOur client is seeking a mid-to-senior level commercial leasing attorney to join its real estate group in our Atlanta, GA or Bethesda, MD office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial leasing and the ability to manage transactions independently while delivering practical, client-focused legal advice.ResponsibilitiesServe as lead counsel on commercial leasing transactionsDraft and negotiate leases and related agreements, including:Letters of intentWork lettersAssignment and transfer documentsLender subordination agreements and SNDAsAdvise clients on market lease terms and risk considerationsRepresent landlords across multiple asset classes, including office, retail, and industrial sectorsManage leasing transactions from initial negotiation through executionWork directly with clients, brokers, property managers, and opposing counselCollaborate with partners and supervise junior attorneys as appropriateQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolMinimum of 7 years of experience in commercial leasingActive bar admission in the applicable jurisdictionExperience with office, retail, and industrial leasesStrong knowledge of leasing market standardsExcellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilitiesHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters efficientlyAbility to work both collaboratively and independentlyAdditional Preferred ExperienceExperience representing landlordsExposure to multi-asset or portfolio leasingCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceMedical, dental, vision and LTD insurance401(k) plan
