Department Managing AttorneyLocation: 30 Perimeter Park Drive, Suite 200 Atlanta, Georgia 30341Job Type: Fulltime/Direct HireSalary: DOEResponsibilities:Responsible for handling and managing an independent caseload of matters from a broad range of clients. This position will manage and grow a team of attorneys and staff. Candidates should have trial experience in any of general liability, automobile, products liability, property, trucking/commercial vehicle, or related areas of insurance defense litigation.Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload and teamServe as lead counsel on a broad range of cases throughout GeorgiaRequirements:Member in good standing of the State Bar of GeorgiaA minimum of eight or more years of insurance defense and/or personal injury litigation experienceJury trial experience as first chair or significant second chair experienceMust be able to manage a team independentlyMust be comfortable supervising team production and billingAbility to work well with others and lead a team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistantsMust be able to interact with firm clients and participate in continuing education presentationsAbility to travel as needed
