One of our client is seeking an experienced Georgia attorney to serve as Managing Attorney for their Georgia office and help lead several of the firm’s core practice divisions, including foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing matters. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an attorney who is ready to do more than manage files. The right candidate will help lead people, improve processes, guide strategy, support clients, and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of their Georgia operations. The firm represents clients in the mortgage banking, default servicing, creditor rights, real estate, litigation, eviction, and REO closing industries. We are looking for a highly capable attorney who brings strong legal judgment, practical leadership skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced legal environment. Position Overview The Georgia Managing Attorney will oversee the day-to-day legal and operational performance of the firm’s Georgia foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing divisions. This role requires a strong attorney, a steady leader, and a practical problem solver who can manage deadlines, support staff, maintain quality control, and ensure that matters are handled efficiently, professionally, and in full compliance with applicable law, court rules, client requirements, and firm standards. This position is ideal for an attorney with at least seven or more years of meaningful experience handling foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing matters, together with proven experience managing attorneys, paralegals, processors, and support staff. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to step into a visible leadership role with an established firm, help shape the future of a growing office, and become a trusted member of the firm’s leadership team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the firm’s Georgia foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing divisions. Supervise, mentor, train, and support attorneys, paralegals, processors, and legal support staff. Oversee case strategy, workflow, file progression, deadlines, hearings, client expectations, and overall division performance. Review and approve pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, correspondence, title documents, closing documents, and other legal work product. Handle hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, closings, escalated matters, client calls, and complex legal issues as needed. Ensure compliance with Georgia law, court rules, local practice requirements, client guidelines, investor requirements, regulatory obligations, and firm policies. Work closely with firm leadership to strengthen systems, improve workflows, enhance quality control, and support continued growth. Identify training needs, staffing needs, process improvements, and practical solutions to improve performance and client service. Promote a professional, accountable, respectful, and team-oriented culture. Serve as a trusted leader who sets the standard for excellence, responsiveness, judgment, and professionalism. Required Qualifications Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar. At least seven or more years of meaningful experience handling foreclosure, dispossessory/eviction, and real estate title and closing matters. Strong working knowledge of Georgia foreclosure practice, dispossessory/eviction procedures, real estate title issues, closing processes, and creditor rights matters. Prior experience managing attorneys, paralegals, processors, or legal support staff. Strong legal writing, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple divisions, competing deadlines, and high-volume legal workflows. Sound judgment, attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong client-service mindset. Ability to lead with confidence, accountability, respect, and practical business judgment. Tennessee Bar admission is a plus, but not required. Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, leadership ability, and qualifications. 401(k). Employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance. Disability and life insurance. Paid time off and paid holidays. Voluntary benefits. Supportive work-life balance. Professional development and advancement opportunities. Direct involvement with firm leadership.
