Lead Risk Analyst

Risk Management Opportunity

Lead member of the Risk Group, focused on ETRM related activities. Requires a thorough understanding of risk control principles and systems. Develop tools that requires critical risk calculation and analysis.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop valuation models for energy specific assets using traditional and non-traditional analytical tools.
• Develop risk analysis and measurement methodologies.
• Perform financial analysis of historical and forecasted information.
• Serve as a lead Allegro resource for the company - ranging from supporting business user processes to collaborating with IT to resolve system defects and enhancements.
• Conduct business analysis requiring cross-business unit coordination.
• A variety of risk control related tasks - daily, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc.
• Work with Commercial, Accounting, IT, and other groups to support strategic business objectives.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Information Management Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or other analytical fields.
• 3-5 years of Trading or Risk Management experience.
• Computer programming skills in SAS, VB, VBA, C++.
• Excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, etc.)
