Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring circulating experience and MA licensure.

Details

• Work in the Birthing Unit (Obstetrics) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week
• Mixed shift pattern including two 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) and two 8-hour shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license (or MA Temp License accepted) required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and recent intermediate-level EFM
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within the Labor & Delivery/Birthing Unit
• Preferred but not required certifications include ALSO (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics), Perinatal NCC certifications, and First Latch breastfeeding certification
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• RTO during the assignment is limited to no more than 7 days
• Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Blue scrubs are recommended though not strictly required
• Medical and religious COVID exemptions are accepted if included at time of consideration
