THE ROLE
- Food Preparation: Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients. Preparing sandwiches and salads.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene: Cleaning dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations: Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations, assisting with the monitoring of inventory, putting deliveries away and communicating effectively in a fast-paced enviornment.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Available to work flexible hours that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Meet store operating standards and policies
- Available to perform different tasks within the store during each shift
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions and requests when needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to carry out necessary job functions in walk-in cooler
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong decision making and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
