IT Procurement Analyst

The IT Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting and managing the creation of purchase orders of technology products and services. This role partners closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to manage renewals, and ensure procurement activities align with company policies, budgets, and strategic goals. The ideal candidate has strong experience in procurement processes, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with company procurement policies.
• Ensure proper approvals, budget alignment, coding, and documentation are completed before purchase execution.
• Work with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor billing questions.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase history, vendor data, and supporting documentation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for strategic IT vendors in relation to purchase order management
• Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders within the ERP/procure-to-pay system (e.g., SAP, Coupa, ServiceNow)
• Manage time tracking for external resources for the purpose of monthly accruals
• Support Finance on accruals if questions arise
• Drive alignment between business requirements and procurement execution through effective communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and policies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, finance, or IT purchasing
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, spend analysis tools, and data visualization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, vendors, and internal requests simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential business and financial information
• Working knowledge of contract law fundamentals and vendor risk management practices
