Job Type Full‑Time Job Summary The Embassy Suites La Jolla is seeking a motivated, experienced Front Office Supervisor to lead daily front desk operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for a hands‑on hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys mentoring team members while maintaining high service standards. As Front Office Supervisor, you will oversee front desk activities, support and coach associates, and act as a key problem‑solver for guest concerns—ensuring smooth operations and memorable stays for every guest. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily front‑office operations to ensure efficient, professional guest service. Oversee guest check‑in and check‑out procedures, including reservations, billing, and payment handling. Train front office team members on hotel procedures, brand standards, and customer service expectations. Serve as the first point of escalation for guest issues, resolving concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and guest‑ready at all times. Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences. Support scheduling, coverage needs, and shift transitions as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front‑office, hospitality, or customer‑service supervisory role. Strong leadership and team‑management skills with a service‑focused mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computer systems and hotel property management systems (PMS preferred). Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
