Stand Up Forklift Operator Location: Springfield, Ohio area Shift: 1st Shift Monday – Friday: 4:00pm -12:30am Saturday: (Required every other week) Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour Position Type: Full-time (Resume & interview required) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Urbana, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for unloading shuttle trucks from the main plant, organizing inventory, and safely placing product skids into high-density storage racks. This position is ideal for experienced forklift operators who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment, possess strong spatial awareness, and maintain a strict commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Inbound Receiving: Unload incoming shuttle trucks dispatched from the main plant safely and efficiently. Put-Away & Staging: Transport and place loaded product skids securely into designated warehouse storage racks. Outbound Logistics: Pull specific inventory items from stock and occasionally assist with final outbound truck loading. Equipment Safety: Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and operate machinery in strict compliance with safety guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements Forklift Experience: Proven stand up forklift experience is mandatory. Skills Assessment: All candidates must pass a practical stand up forklift driving test at the time of the interview. Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work the scheduled weekday hours and commit to the required bi-weekly Saturday shift.
