New Home Consultant

Job Overview We are Lennar, a Fortune 500® homebuilding company dedicated to delivering quality homes and exceptional customer service. Position: New Home Consultant As a New Home Consultant, you will guide homebuyers through the purchasing process, from initial engagement to closing, ensuring a seamless experience and fostering lasting relationships. Responsibilities Engage visitors, establish relationships, and determine their home buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy. Generate, process, and close home sales through self-generated or referred leads, leveraging the 10-5-2-1 selling approach. Maintain consistent and timely follow‑through with customers from initial contact through closing and post‑closing activities, keeping accurate communication records. Maintain the condition of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; communicate maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution. Travel within the local community to generate leads from Realtor/Co‑Broker businesses, referrals, and proactive self‑prospecting. Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the competitive market, including product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising strategies, and customer demographics. Monitor and record daily customer traffic using company‑designated tracking tools. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transaction and exceptional customer satisfaction. Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and real estate license preferred. Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or a related field. Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools. Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset and ability to work independently. Physical & Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during normal work hours is essential. The role may require working more than eight hours per day in a construction trailer, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, moving, and/or carrying equipment that may exceed 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment and finger dexterity for computer use may also be required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $17–$18 per hour, adjustable based on qualifications and geographic location. Eligible for bonuses and commissions.
