Field Service Technician III

Qualus Power Services

Provide technical capabilities for testing relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and related switchgear in the field. Completing mechanical work and repairs on breakers and switches, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement. Serve as a technical leader in testing/maintenance/repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and associated equipment Provides proper preparation and documentation for site projects Wiring circuit breakers. Utilizing and accurately reading test equipment. Reading schematics and wiring drawings. Troubleshooting circuit breaker controls. Reading and plotting time-current curves. Testing transformers, including Power Factor and TTR. Accurately and consistently documenting using Power DB. Provide instruction and mentorship in training for junior level technicians Able to work with electrical tools and socket sets. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma.
