We provide sales and service for a comprehensive line of high-quality machinery, including mills, lathes, saws, grinders, press brakes, shears, angle and plate rolls, laser systems, waterjets, and other fabrication equipment. Our headquarters and flagship warehouse are located in Philadelphia, PA, with a second warehouse in Chicago, IL. Position Overview This is a full-time position for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and helping manufacturers find the right equipment for their production needs. The majority of your time will be spent working with warm leads and inbound inquiries, while also identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships. Although this is primarily an inside sales position, KAAST encourages Sales Representatives to visit customers when appropriate to strengthen relationships and better understand their operations. Travel is approximately 10% and primarily consists of attending 2–3 industry trade shows per year, along with occasional customer visits. Responsibilities Manage Leads & Pipeline: Qualify and follow up on inbound and warm leads, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and track all activity in our CRM. Customer Engagement: Analyze customer applications, recommend the ideal KAAST machinery, and deliver compelling presentations with accurate quotes. Build Relationships: Establish trust and maintain strong connections with new and existing customers. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of KAAST’s extensive product line and stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings. Drive Results: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful order fulfillment. Trade Shows: Attend 2-3 industry events per year. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years in inside sales or account management; capital equipment or machine tool experience is highly preferred. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals. Skills: Excellent communication, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, quick to learn new technologies, and highly organized. Attributes: Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to build rapport with customers; team player who can also work independently.
