GR Mental Health Registered Nurses - Ritson Clinic, Royal Edinburgh Hospital

About the Role The Ritson Clinic is a 12‑bedded unit that provides in‑patient assessment and detoxification from alcohol and/or drugs to patients across Edinburgh and the Lothians. It mainly serves people with alcohol disorders but many also have other complex needs including drug use and painkiller addiction. Most patients have co‑morbid mental and/or physical health problems. Key Responsibilities Assess patient needs and develop individual care plans. Deliver patient‑centred care through effective planning, implementation and evaluation of care programmes. Work shifts over a 24‑hour period, 7 days a week. Qualifications Registered mental health nurse with an existing NMC PIN. Experience in mental health nursing or learning disabilities nursing (preferred). Benefits Full and part‑time hours with flexible shift patterns.
