About The Role The Ritson Clinic is a 12-bedded unit that provides in-patient assessment and detoxification from alcohol and/or drugs to patients across the city of Edinburgh and Lothians. It caters primarily for people with alcohol disorders but many will also have other complex needs, including drug use and painkiller addiction. Most have co‑morbidity mental and/or physical health problems. The post holder will play a key role in assessing patient needs and delivering outstanding, patient‑centred care through effective planning, implementation and evaluation of care programmes.
