Assembly Supervisor 1st Shift

Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers. Ensure that productivity, quality and safety goal are met or exceeded. Essential Functions Recommends improvements in production, methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to. Interpret company policies and procedures for employees. Maintain operations data such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment. Recommend personnel actions such as discipline and promotions. Working Under Pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. Certifications and Special Requirements Computer Skills – Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook. Education and Experience High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Two to four years related experience. Physical Abilities Lift / Carry: up to 10 lbs frequently, 11–20 lbs frequently. Stand constantly, walk frequently up to 11–20 lbs, sit occasionally up to 21–50 lbs. Reach above shoulder frequently, climb occasionally, squat or kneel occasionally. Weight handling: up to 12 lbs frequently, 13–25 lbs frequently, 26–40 lbs occasionally, 41–100 lbs not applicable. Other Physical Requirements Vision (Near, Distance) Sense of Touch Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Safety glasses, hearing protection in some cases. Required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms regularly.
