We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.What You'll DoHelp build aircraft subsystems integration test labsRead wiring diagrams and schematics, and have the ability to understand common electrical symbols and componentsRepair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a lab environmentMaintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgradesInspect the work of other technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specificationsTroubleshoot integration encounteredFabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for Aerospace Industry Standards.What You Need5 years of experience as an electrical technician in Aviation, Aerospace or similar industrySuperior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshootingHands on experience cutting, splicing and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harnesses typesExtreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical workAbility to replace various subsystems componentsA safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labsSet an example for a high standard of technical work for other team membersBonus QualificationsExperience maintaining / modifying certified aircraft.A&P LicenseInspection Authorization (IA)Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setupsFamiliarity with high voltage systems
