Emergency Dept Technician

Responsibilities The Emergency Room Technician is responsible for greeting and orienting patients to the patient care area. They perform cardiac monitoring testing and rhythm interpretation. The technician also provides security access to and from the Emergency Department by monitoring cameras and answering entrance phones, and provides patient care services as instructed. The technician collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Successful completion of arrhythmia recognition course, as assigned Previous healthcare experience preferred Must be able to lift Must be able to attend one week of full-time training #J-18808-Ljbffr
