Guest Service Representative Part Time

The Tulsa Nothing Bundt Cakes location is open Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 7:00PM, Saturdays from 10AM to 6PM and Sundays from 11AM to 4PM. We are in South Tulsa at 7890 E. 106th Place, Tulsa OK 74133 in The Vineyard Shopping Center. At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we refer to our Guest Service Representatives as Joy Creators! *** Please note that this is for a Part Time position at the Tulsa location. ***

Education and Work Requirements:

• Applicant must be 16 years of age or older.
• No experience necessary. We will train on site.
• Previous experience in a retail, bakery or restaurant setting is a plus.
• Must obtain a food handler's permit once hired.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet walk-in and over-the-phone guests with genuine, helpful enthusiasm to determine their needs.
• Maintain a strong product knowledge to assist guests: sizing, flavors, pricing, special promotions, etc.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately, utilizing our point-of-sale system.
• Uphold a clean, organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning.
• Restock retail merchandise and the cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assist the Crafter in preparation of cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Work Availability:

• Must be available to work 10-20 hours a week. (Part Time)
• Must be available to work various weekday shifts between 4:30pm and 7:00PM.
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be able to work additional hours during the holiday season as needed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, etc.

• Has strong interpersonal skills; is friendly, helpful, positive, patient, and can communicate well with others.
• Enjoys interacting with people to provide superior customer service.
• Can perform multiple tasks simultaneously while still being able to pay attention to detail.
• Is organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Has the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Understands basic math when needed and can provide monetary change using U.S. currency.
• Has the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
• Has the ability to assist customers over the phone.
• Has the ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Has the ability to lift moderate to heavy items (up to 30lbs) if needed.
