Research Assistant

Our client is a growing clinical research organization that partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to conduct Phase I–IV clinical trials. Position Summary The Research Assistant supports the successful execution of clinical research studies by assisting with participant visits, specimen handling, documentation, and study-related procedures. Working closely with the clinical research team, this individual helps ensure studies are conducted in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain source documentation for participant study visits. Perform protocol-required procedures including vital signs, ECGs, and phlebotomy. Enter participant and study data accurately into research systems. Manage laboratory kit inventory and maintain adequate study supplies. Process, package, and ship laboratory specimens in accordance with protocol requirements. Participate in study-specific and protocol training as assigned. Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining study documentation. Support the research team with additional study-related activities as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or life sciences discipline is preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or life sciences discipline is preferred. Experience Previous clinical, healthcare, or research experience is preferred. Experience performing basic clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, ECGs, or vital signs is advantageous. Required Skills Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology. Strong organisational and time-management skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
