Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working in a school or educational setting as a paraprofessional is strongly preferred
• Ability to support instructional activities and manage classroom tasks effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with students, teachers, and staff
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow directions from supervising educators

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom instruction and activities, offering support to individual students or small groups as needed
• Help create and maintain a safe, supportive, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Support students with varied learning needs in academic, behavioral, and social development
• Aid with classroom management, organization, and preparation of materials
• Foster inclusion and encourage participation among all students
• Offer additional supervision during transitions, meal times, or other non-classroom activities
