Carlitos Mexican Restaurant is looking for a dependable, hands-on Multi-Location General Manager to support our restaurants in Burkburnett, Iowa Park, and Electra.
We are a family-owned business seeking someone who can take ownership, develop our shift leaders, maintain consistent standards across locations, and solve routine operating problems without needing constant direction from the owners.
This position requires regular travel between all three locations. The manager will work closely with each location’s kitchen manager and oversee front-of-house operations, including servers, bartenders, takeout employees, and shift leaders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Visit and support the Burkburnett, Iowa Park, and Electra locations regularly
- Prepare, review, or approve weekly front-of-house schedules
- Manage employee availability, time-off requests, call-outs, and shift coverage
- Make sure every location has proper leadership and staffing
- Supervise and coach servers, bartenders, takeout employees, and shift leaders
- Train shift leaders to solve routine problems independently
- Assign and verify opening and closing responsibilities
- Review opening and closing checklists for completion
- Conduct unannounced inspections when necessary
- Maintain consistent cleanliness, service, and operating standards at all locations
- Handle routine customer complaints, refunds, and comps within company guidelines
- Monitor attendance, lateness, employee conduct, and performance
- Train and onboard new front-of-house employees
- Review cash drawers, voids, comps, discounts, and closing paperwork
- Coordinate with each kitchen manager regarding service, staffing, supplies, and restaurant needs
- Help cover leadership gaps when a location is short-staffed
- Identify recurring problems and implement solutions across all three restaurants
- Provide ownership with an organized weekly report for each location
- Escalate serious safety, cash, legal, or personnel matters to ownership
Travel Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly between Burkburnett, Iowa Park, and Electra
- Must be available to respond in person when a location has a significant operational issue
- Daily location assignments may change according to staffing and business needs
What We Are Looking For
- Restaurant management or multi-location leadership experience
- Experience supervising employees across multiple shifts or locations
- Strong scheduling and employee-management skills
- Comfortable handling call-outs and finding shift coverage
- Able to hold employees and shift leaders accountable respectfully and consistently
- Calm and professional when handling customer complaints
- Organized, dependable, and able to follow through
- Comfortable working hands-on during busy restaurant shifts
- Available for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Able to communicate clearly with employees, kitchen managers, and owners
- Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required
