Genesis10 is currently seeking an Internal Cloud Release Manager / Release Train Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end governance of the Internal Cloud Platform release lifecycle, including the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and platform changes. The ideal candidate will manage release dependencies across engineering, operations, security, and product teams, ensuring changes are introduced safely, predictably, and with minimal risk to platform stability.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end governance of the Internal Cloud Platform release lifecycle, including planning, coordination, execution, and production promotion
• Manage release dependencies across engineering, operations, security, and product teams
• Ensure changes are introduced safely, predictably, and with minimal risk to platform stability
• Define and own release standards, cadence, and readiness criteria to support consistent delivery at enterprise scale
• Manage release calendars, enforce readiness criteria, coordinate change windows, and integrate CI/CD pipeline outputs into controlled production releases

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience managing release lifecycles for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or shared services
• Demonstrated expertise in release management, change management, and dependency coordination across complex, multi-team environments
• Hands-on experience using Jira, Agile / SAFe tooling, and release tracking mechanisms to manage large delivery backlogs
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), and how automated changes are safely promoted into production
• Proven experience operating within regulated environments, where platform stability, auditability, and change controls are mandatory

Desired skills:

• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), ITIL Change Management, or equivalent certification
• 5-7+ years supporting infrastructure or cloud platform releases at enterprise scale
• Experience releasing VMware based platforms, internal clouds, or hybrid cloud environments
• Demonstrated ability to define release standards, readiness criteria, and governance frameworks for shared platforms
• Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
