Lecturer

Department Overview A part‑time lecturer position within the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business, School of Global Innovation and Leadership. Candidates will teach undergraduate courses in one of the three concentrations: Operations and Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, or International Business. The role is available on the main campus in San José, California, or online. Brief Description of Duties Teach undergraduate or graduate courses as scheduled, using synchronous, asynchronous, hybrid, or other modes. Maintain weekly office hours, design and grade exams and assignments. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Use the Canvas Learning Management System consistently to support students and maintain course materials. Adopt inclusive teaching practices that support a diverse student population. Required Qualifications Master’s or higher degree relevant to the courses to be taught, with at least three years of professional experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teaching. Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural student population, including cross‑cultural competency. Ability to engage students within an inclusive learning environment. Preferred Qualifications College‑level teaching experience. Compensation and Benefits Salary is based on rank and experience. Anticipated monthly rates for full‑time equivalents are: L‑A / Range 2 – $5,507–$5,959 L‑B / Range 3 – $6,221–$7,481 L‑C / Range 4 – $6,825–$9,431 L‑D / Range 5 – $8,593–$10,347 Part‑time rates are prorated on a monthly basis. Faculty receive six monthly payments per semester; see the salary schedule for details.
