Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant (Hybrid – Atlanta)The Junior Accountant supports daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end close activities. This role offers exposure to international finance operations and the full accounting cycle while ensuring compliance with internal controls and US GAAP standards.Key Responsibilities:Support general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor open items.Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.Assist in preparing financial reports and internal documentation.Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and ethical accounting standards.Collaborate with cross-functional and international finance teams.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Up to 2 years of accounting experience (corporate or multinational preferred).Basic knowledge of US GAAP principles.Understanding of internal controls and accounting processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Authorization to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.Background in a multinational or shared services environment.Italian language skills are a plus.Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective organizational and time-management skills.Team-oriented with a proactive, learning-focused mindset.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.What You Will Learn:Hands-on exposure to the full accounting cycle.Experience collaborating with international finance teams.Training and mentorship from senior accounting professionals.Work Environment:Collaborative, team-oriented Accounting & Tax function.Interaction with U.S.-based and international stakeholders.Supportive environment with structured training and mentoring.
