The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: Hybrid, Location unspecified Mission: Owns the accurate accounting and recognition of revenue, ensuring financial integrity and compliance with established standards. Tech Stack: Excel What You'll Actually Do Month-End Close: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures for revenue, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports. Contract Management: Complete contract setup in the accounting system, ensuring all cost elements are appropriately accounted for. Compliance Assurance: Ensure contracts align with revenue recognition and billing standards, supporting change orders, modifications, and closing of contracts. Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessment of contract terms to identify potential financial risks to the business. Revenue Analysis: Analyze revenue for variables and determine their impact on revenue recognition, reviewing transactions for accurate reporting. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting. Experience: Understanding and practical experience with contract setup processes. Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to meet strict deadlines and ensure timely completion of responsibilities, and experience with Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
