Role Title: Senior Accountant Location: Sandy Springs, GA (5 days onsite) Employment Type: Full-time / permanent Client Industry: Medical Practice Compensation: $80,000 - 110,000k **Candidates will NOT be considered unless they have experience in a medical practice, physician group, or healthcare provider setting. Summary: Our client is a large, multi-location medical practice seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own the monthly close across a growing network of clinics and surgery centers. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role covers full-cycle reconciliations, journal entries, and consolidations. Strong candidates bring solid GAAP knowledge and direct experience in a medical practice or physician group environment. What You'll Own Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GL account reconciliations across accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intangibles. Record monthly journal entries and perform bank reconciliations. Support financial statement preparation and consolidations across the entity structure. Assist with the preparation and filing of monthly and quarterly state sales taxes. Coordinate and support external audits, resolving discrepancies and non-compliance issues. Prepare revenue projections, expenditure forecasts, and assist with budgets. Support and mentor junior accounting staff. Must-Haves 5+ years of accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Direct experience in a medical practice or physician group environment. Full-cycle month-end close experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, and bank recs. Multi-entity accounting and consolidations experience. Nice to Have Paylocity experience. State sales tax preparation and filing experience. Exposure to ambulatory surgery centers or multi-site healthcare operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
