Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant - Roswell, GAThe Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and serves as a key contributor to the accounting team. This role partners closely with finance and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient month-end processes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills who can communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review month-end journal entries.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.Support intercompany and intracompany reconciliations.Assist with audit requests and documentation.Support internal controls and maintain process documentation.Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.Consolidate and optimize month-end procedures and workflows.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree preferred).5+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close responsibilities.Experience preparing account reconciliations and journal entries.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Experience with large ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred).Advanced Excel skills.Preferred:Offshore team collaboration experience.Process improvement experience.Senior Accountant with 5+ years' experience managing month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.
