Step into a rewarding Occupational Therapy opportunity working with early childhood programs in Lackawanna County. This contract position is ideal for a flexible, motivated OT professional who enjoys collaborating in school settings and making a lasting impact on young children’s lives. Enjoy working onsite with a supportive education team, helping children develop crucial skills for success both in and out of the classroom.

Currently structured for 21 hours per week across 2-3 days, there is potential to expand to a full five-day schedule over the course of the school year. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 16, 2027, providing long-term stability and connection with the students and staff you serve.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Holds active Occupational Therapy licensure in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in schools or similar pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Background working with early childhood or preschool-aged children
• Ability to secure current PA clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite OT services to young learners within school environments
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to address students’ individual needs
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to early childhood development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to professional guidelines and district policies
