Sr Director, US Reimbursement Strategy

Medtronic seeks a Senior Director to lead Medicare reimbursement strategy development for its medical device portfolio. This role translates CMS policy changes into business strategies, advises leadership on reimbursement considerations, and manages relationships with government and industry stakeholders to support patient access and technology adoption.

Responsibilities

Lead Medicare reimbursement strategy development for current and emerging technologies, addressing payment, coding, coverage, and market access
Evaluate CMS proposed and final rules to identify business impact and develop strategic responses
Advise business and cross-functional leaders on reimbursement considerations for product development, launch, and investment decisions
Build and maintain relationships with CMS, industry associations, and healthcare policy stakeholders to advance reimbursement priorities
Develop reimbursement policy positions and regulatory comments supported by clinical, economic, and policy evidence

Requirements

Demonstrated success developing and executing Medicare reimbursement strategies across payment, coding, and coverage pathways
Expertise interpreting CMS regulations, Medicare payment systems, and policy developments
Proven ability influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across matrix organizations
Experience translating reimbursement policy developments into business strategy and actionable recommendations
