Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorship Specialist

The FAM Music is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorship Specialist to help secure mission-aligned sponsors for our upcoming Mental Health In Music Panel & Live Performance taking place May 17 in Venice Beach.

We are looking for someone who is relationship-driven and resourceful—someone who either already has connections within brands and organizations that may support this initiative, or knows how to identify and reach the right decision-makers quickly.

About the Event

Mental Health In Music: Live Performances & Panel in Venice Beach on May 17

A curated gathering of 60–75 artists, executives, and music professionals designed to foster meaningful conversation around mental health, sustainability, and collaboration in the music industry.

The event will take place at The Lofts Venice Beach in partnership with Petit Hospitality and will feature a panel discussion, live performances, and opportunities for genuine industry connection.

Overview

We’re looking for support with identifying and securing aligned sponsors and partners who want to support both the event and The FAM’s broader mission.

The ideal person may:

• Have relationships with brands, startups, music companies, or creative organizations
• Know how to identify and reach marketing, partnerships, or social impact decision-makers
• Be comfortable initiating outreach and facilitating introductions

The goal is to help bring in values-aligned partners who want to support artist wellbeing, mental health advocacy, and a healthier music industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential sponsors and brand partners aligned with the event’s mission
• Spark conversation with personal relationships or strategic outreach to connect with decision-makers
• Present The FAM’s sponsorship opportunities and partnership materials
• Facilitate conversations between interested partners and The FAM leadership team
• Help close sponsorship commitments and ensure alignment with the event vision

Compensation

This role is commission-based, rewarding successful partnership development.

Typical structure:

• 10% commission on confirmed sponsorship revenue

Examples:

• $2,500 partnership → $250 commission
• $5,000 partnership → $500 commission

Ideal Candidate

• Strong network within music, wellness, mental health, entertainment, brand marketing, startups, or creative industries
• OR demonstrated ability to identify and reach the right brand decision-makers
• Comfortable initiating outreach and building relationships
• Passionate about improving culture and sustainability within the music industry
• Organized and self-directed
