Key Responsibilities of a Hospice Clinical Manager Oversees all visits from referral-to-admission and through death processes. Ensures quality care, documentation and collaboration are within guidelines. Supports direct care coordination, ensures hospice eligibility, and oversees recordkeeping functions. Provides orientation, education, training and/or competencies, as needed. Maintains and implements operational policies and procedures to meet patient and family needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and Care Initiatives Hospice policies and procedures. Supports and facilitates educational directives of the Administrator and/or corporate leadership. What it takes to be a Clinical Manager with Care Initiatives Hospice Active RN license (or ability to activate) in the state(s) in which you operate. Active CPR certification. Hospice or palliative care experience. At least one year in a leadership or charge nurse position or relative experience. Two years of recent clinical experience in hospice, oncology, home health or public health nursing; hospice experience preferred. Home access to the internet. Hospice and Palliative Registered Nurse Certification (CHPN) preferred, or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment. Why choose Care Initiatives?
