This position involves working on an acute care floor with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6 or 1:7. The role requires rotating day and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays as needed, with a focus on providing quality care for patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cellulitis, respiratory assessments, gastrointestinal conditions, pneumonia, urosepsis, and acute kidney injury. Job Details: Position: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Location: Wheeling, West Virginia Shift: Transitioning to Qgenda scheduling system; 12-hour shifts Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts, rotating weekends, holidays as needed Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; Minimum 2 years of experience; licensure to submit not required Patient Ratios: Up to 1:7, with RN approval Unit Notes: 50 mile radius rule ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE.
