Seeking Volunteers to Host Cup Watch Parties at HI NYC

Who We Are We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year. Bring the energy of the world's biggest soccer tournament to life at HI NYC. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to host on site watch parties for our hostel guests from around the world. This is a chance to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where travelers can connect over a shared love of fútbol. What You Will Do Set up and host Cup watch parties in the hostel common space Welcome guests and help create an inclusive, social environment Encourage interaction through light activities (team spirit, predictions, etc.) Distribute items like flags or face paint (if provided) Help monitor the space and keep things organized during the event What Makes a Great Host Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with diverse groups Interest in soccer/fútbol or global events Ability to manage group energy and keep things fun and respectful Reliable and able to commit to hosting 2-4 watch parties at Hostelling International NYC located at 891 Amsterdam Avenue, NY 10025 Why Volunteer With HI USA?
