Quick Facts Location: 1492 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43203 Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date: 12/14/2026 Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (14:00 22:30) Hours per week: 40 Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM); CPR preferred Experience: Prior sterile processing experience required Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $32.88 per hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support What You'll Do Perform decontamination of surgical instruments, including drills and scopes Execute sterilization processes using Sterrad and steam sterilizers Handle High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope processing Manage sterile storage and inventory control Serve as an OR liaison to facilitate instrument needs and case cart preparation Move case carts, separate dirty instruments, and prepare case carts for upcoming surgeries Respond to OR calls for both surgical floors Use Censitrac tracking system to ensure proper documentation and traceability What You Need Valid certification: CBSPD or CRCST (HSPA/IAHCSMM) Previous sterile processing experience in a hospital or surgical environment Ability to work 8-hour shifts and handle physical tasks Strong organizational and communication skills Eligibility restrictions: Previous staff or traveler within 50 miles of the site are not eligible; current contractors nearing limit not eligible for extensions About the Assignment This assignment is at a prominent healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio.
