Job Description Position Title: Pallet Builder Wage: $17/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 12:30pm-11:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Pallet Builder for a company in Darien, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Pallet Builder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established company-implemented safety behaviors, processes, and procedures
- Build pallets using provided tools, wood components, and proper process and procedure
- Work effectively within a diverse team environment
- Perform sanitation "clean as you go" and good housekeeping practices and end of shift clean-up
- Will be trained on the use of the following tools in order to build: Nail gun, Hammer, Table Saw, Radial Arm Saw, and Pallet Notcher Pallet Builder Requirements:
- Must be able to read basic construction blueprints
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality
- Must be able to do repetitive bending, twisting, leaning, lifting, walking, and stretching
- Must be able to lift an average of 30 pounds consistently throughout duration of shift, can be up to 50 pounds with help
- Must have good attendance during contract period
- Must be able to work well with diverse team members
