Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse

This temporary-to-permanent role places an experienced Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse in a 13-week contract in West Albuquerque, NM, with weekly pay up to $2,850 based on experience. The nurse will support surgical teams, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment. The position offers a pathway to permanent placement within a supportive surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as a Circulator RN, coordinating and delivering patient care throughout the surgical process
• Prepare the OR for procedures by ensuring necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile
• Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout the surgery and report any changes
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other members of the surgical team

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification a plus
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience
