If so, Polk Mechanical wants you on our team as an OPS Construction Technologist .

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things operations technology. You’ll partner with project teams, field leaders, IT, and VDC to uncover inefficiencies, research solutions, and make them real. Some days you’ll be testing out new tools, others you’ll be training teams on tech like Procore, Power BI, OpenSpace, or IFS —and some days you’ll be experimenting with fresh ideas we haven’t tried yet.

Think of yourself as part business analyst, part innovator, and part connector. You’ll:

• Spot pain points in our construction operations and figure out how technology can solve them.
• Test, implement, and support apps and tools that make projects run smoother.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive innovation across the company.
• Dive into data and make it meaningful with dashboards and reports.
• Explore new tech and bring the best ideas to the table.

What We’re Looking For

• A curious, self-starter who loves learning and experimenting.
• Someone with exposure to construction, engineering, or IT—but mostly a passion for using apps and data to solve problems .
• Comfort working with tools like Procore, Revit/AutoCAD, Power BI, or similar platforms (experience is great, but not required if you’re a quick learner).
• Strong communication skills—you’ll be the bridge between construction pros and tech teams.
• A degree in Construction Management, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but not required if you’ve got the right experience.
