Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced and passionate Center Director to join a high-quality, child-centered preschool program in Irvine, CA. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, lead staff development efforts, and ensure the delivery of a consistent, developmentally appropriate curriculum.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in building strong teams, engaging families, and fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where children and educators can excel. The program emphasizes creativity, independence, and whole-child development.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily preschool operations, including staffing, scheduling, and program execution
• Ensure curriculum aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and established educational philosophies
• Maintain compliance with state licensing, safety, and health regulations
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff
• Build strong relationships with families as the primary communication point
• Manage administrative operations, including budgeting and workflow management
• Maintain accurate and compliant records
• Collaborate with internal departments and leadership teams
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across curriculum and operations
• Ensure consistency and quality across classrooms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in early childhood education
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and program administration
• Experience with licensing regulations, compliance, and safety standards
• Background in managing staff, budgets, and preschool operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build a positive and collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience with Montessori or similar educational models
• Background in curriculum development or innovation
• Experience with budgeting strategy or program growth
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
