Job Summary:
The CT Tech will perform advanced computed tomography procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting diagnostic imaging needs with expertise in neuro and perfusion scans. This role requires delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Operate GE CT scanners to perform all mandated procedures, including neuro and perfusion scans.
- Maintain precise documentation in Meditech and adhere to department protocols.
- Ensure patient safety by following all safety standards and assessing patient condition throughout scans.
- Collaborate with radiology staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions promptly.
- Comply with hospital policies, dress code, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- Hold ARRT (CT) certification and VA license.
- Possess BLS certification and demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of CT tech experience.
- Exhibit advanced skills in performing complex CT procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, with a positive team-oriented attitude.
