The Network Program Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that support provider network operations, data management, credentialing technology, operational reporting, process improvement, and implementation efforts across Optum Health. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, technology partners, vendors, and leadership to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality business outcomes.The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong project management, relationship management, analytical, and communication skills who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while driving accountability and measurable results.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Program & Project ManagementLead complex initiatives from intake through implementation, monitoring timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverablesDevelop and maintain project plans, status reports, meeting materials, and executive updatesConduct cost-benefit analyses (CBAs), business impact assessments, and data analysis to support strategic decision-makingFacilitate cross-functional meetings, document decisions, and drive action item completionCoordinate implementation, enhancement, and optimization efforts across operational and technology teamsMonitor project health and escalate risks or barriers as appropriateOperational Excellence & Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve operational workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase efficiencyLead process mapping, documentation, and standardization initiativesDevelop and maintain SOPs, job aids, and governance documentationDrive continuous improvement efforts aligned with organizational goalsData, Reporting & InsightsDevelop and maintain operational reporting, dashboards, and performance metricsAnalyze trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadershipSupport data governance and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reportingTranslate complex operational data into meaningful business insightsStakeholder & Customer PartnershipBuild strong partnerships across provider network operations, credentialing, technology, implementation, and leadership teamsServe as a trusted advisor and point of contact for assigned initiativesCommunicate project updates, risks, accomplishments, and recommendations to stakeholdersFacilitate alignment across business partners to achieve shared objectivesVendor & Technology SupportSupport vendor relationships and ongoing performance monitoringCoordinate issue resolution and enhancement requests with internal and external partnersEvaluate technology capabilities and identify opportunities for automation and optimizationParticipate in testing, implementation, and change management activitiesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
