Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips. Experience with MedSurg Stepdown patients. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting. The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday scheduling is a requirement. The unit has a capacity of 34 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 for Stepdown patients. RNs on this unit are responsible for titrating medications. The unit is staffed with Certified Nursing Assistants to support nursing staff. Respiratory therapy services are available in-house 24/7. Telemetry monitoring is performed, and RNs must be proficient in reading telemetry strips. The dress code consists of royal blue scrubs.
